Last Post of the Night: ABC (the liberal media) is so in the tank!

February 6, 2009

Today ABC reported how our new President, Obama, dared to infer that those that receive the TARP also will have some type of pay limitation cap on their salary.  How dare President Obama state that their should be any type of limit on what any business set as their salaries.  So what if they accept the TARP money.  Those people are entitled to their millions in salary and bonuses each and every year.  So what if our economy is sinking into the abyss.  The big executives have life styles to maintain.  President Obama is infringing on capitalism and the free market damn it!  The president is doing just what we feared, trying to nationalize the banks with his arbitrary rules.  Oh..wait…sorry, excuse me, Bush already did that.

What a crock of crap these spokespeople have for an excuses for Wall Street and giving over paid bonuses to those that created this mess.  My favorite line is the excuse that if we limit salaies “the best workers will quit.”  Just where will they go?  China?  Bye.  I pretty sure there will not be many industries that they can go to in America.  How many banks have not taken money (irregardless of Bush and Paulson’s strong arm tactic)?  If those people were so good then why is our economy in the toilet?  If those same people are the best and the brightest, then there is no hope for our country.  It can not get any worst than this.

Okay, I digress, ABC decided to pretend that President Obama is living as large as any CEOs.  Read the report and have a good laugh at how our liberal media has once again proved just how unliberal they are:

In what appears to be an attempt to call Obama a hypocrite, ABC’s Scott Mayerowitz “reports” today that the President also has a “lavish lifestyle.” Under the title: “Obama’s Perks: Private Jet, Chef Tax-Free,” ABC notes that Obama earns $400,000 dollars a year and even has a private jet:

Excuse me, but where was this outrage over the president’s pay check (which is set by Congress, not the president) and use of A-Force One for protection when Bush was in office?  President Obama lives rent free?  Just like Bush did.  President Obama does not get stock options and millions of dollar bonuses.  Where is the comparison?  All this crying  over what?  President Obama is not talking about those that work in the back office and get paltry bonuses and little pay checks all year long.  I’ve worked in investment banking and not being a money maker really does not get you the big bucks.  Maybe the low end workers can get any where between $2,000 and as high as $10,000 before taxes.  Who is ABC trying to fool?  Not all of us are so ignorant.  You do not get the big bucks if your only job is working in the back office making so many thousands a year, no matter what your contribution.  President Obama is talking about those that get millions year in and year out no matter how much they are fucking up our economy with their choices (and skilled talent that continues to lead their companies and our economy in the toilet).

This is so typical of the “in-the-tank-per-the-GOP media.”  What next?  Just how long must we deal with stuck on stupid?

McCain: Now He’s the Spineless Maverick?

February 6, 2009

loser-mccainJust like he shrunk into a puppet for the wing nuts agenda during the general election, which by the way got him no where, McCain is once again trying to curry favors.  It’s so sad to see this proud man bend over trying to get his party to like him.  I mean where is the maverick now?  Lost in a sea of republican bull shit?

For shame McCain, for shame.  If that’s the stance he’s wants to take then I need to let an economist point out the real failure of FDR:

(h/t ThinkProgress.org)

It seems the great depression turned into a worst depression because the president, FDR, listened to asshole republicans tell him to stop spending on recovery and turn back to dumb ass taxes.  Now where have I heard that shit?  Hm…from our current crop of congressional and senatorial republicans, perhaps?  McCain is just coming off as totally sad and pitiful for trying to curry favors from the same bunch of jackals that didn’t like him and probably still don’t.

UPDATE:  This is so sad on top of my previous so sad above:

WASHINGTON — The Senate has killed an alternative economic stimulus plan by Sen. John McCain that would have cut income and payroll taxes but spent far less than President Obama’s plan.

The party-line 57-40 vote against McCain’s $421 billion plan came Thursday as a group of moderate Democrats and Republicans struggled to cut up to $100 billion from Obama’s version.

Who knew that we would not like McCain’s policies?  Oh yea…we did.

Last Post of the Night: Closing on Two Subjects

February 5, 2009

I am going to call it a night (since I must go to work in the morning) discussing the quackery of the republicans and the media over the stimulus bill, and something I read earlier that compared President Bush sitting in a chair reading to second graders and President Obama reading to second graders.

First let me deal with the stimulus.  It is, once again, becoming embarrassing that we Americans are being portrayed as stupid.  Our new president has had the foresight to create a stimulus that covers both the short term and the long term.  Yet, we have allowed the media to voice every weak ass opposition from the republican party to an extent that the only words associated withthe stimulus bill is pork, wastful and garbage.  The media has created and promoted the acceptability of the republican –who were the ones that destroyed our economy with their trickle down non regulated nonsense – party’s premise that there is something wrong with the stimulus and that thought have infiltrated our every breath even though it is nothing more than republican regurgitated bullshit.  My question is simple… how long must we go along with this nonsense?  Until another 2 million people have lost their jobs?  Until every middle class home owner is in foreclosure?  Or, until people start dying?  When do we tell the republicans to just shut the fuck up?

The republican party have their idiot sheep (formerly known as their base) that want to continue championing the cause of stupid (since they are stupid) and they turned to the conservative owned media with their very not-really-liberal reporters to tell the American people day in and day out religiously how flawed the stimulus bill is.  Of course it doesn’t bother most of the sheep that the republicans are only arguing over less than a percent of the stimulus.  Either they are completely ignorant or so filled with bitterness they can’t recognized that they are being scammed.  It makes perfect sense to the sheep for America to stay in the toilet, after all the great one, Rush Limbaugh, told them so.  So what if the government didn’t do anything for them during a hurricane, flood, tornado, or any other natural disaster, they are sheep and proud of it.

It is, in a way, a public relations coup that the stimulus has been boiled down to, as one Hill Democrat puts it, “funding for the arts, funding for the mall, and funding to fight AIDS.” Those aspects of the legislation, as the White House points out, constitute a mere 7/100th of one percent of the entire package. Moreover, the size of the legislation is not even the most pertinent topic of debate. For many economists, the issue isn’t whether the stimulus is too large, but whether it goes far enough in producing a new economic structure instead of patching up the old one.

Critics of the recovery bill have also earned their stripes by arguing that the stimulus, by sending money to many different places, won’t be stimulative. The legislation’s authors respond that many parts of the plan serve a dual purpose: to spur the creation or retention of jobs while setting the stage for more durable markets.

As you can surmise, I have a serious problem with this current trend of adopting stupid (republican ideology) as the way to go.  After 8 years of doing nothing, I am in strong opposition of us continuing to do nothing.  Less government my ass.  After 8 years of no government — a mantra the republican party is damn proud of – and the American people being in the toilet for that ideology, I have a seriously low tolerance for listening to anyone suggesting that less government is the way to go.  I find nothing wrong with the government helping to erase the mess that a previous fucked up government created.  As a proud American, it is the height of stupidity to note that we have groups and organization that will reach out to save cockroaches, but on the other hand have groups and organization that will balk at saving another human being.  It is quite ironic that if the government dare reach out and help its people it is immediately considered to be socialism.  How utterly stupid in concept and intelligence.  Where is the logic in saying you want to save an unborn fetus, but when it comes to giving health care to the already born you will fight such a concept tooth and nail? It gives such meaning to our humanitarian efforts to know that we will send money to help the poor of another country while pissing on our own poor with every excuse we can dig up.

The whole concept of the republican party is dead and it is their sheep that they play their sick song to.  They need someone, any fucking body, to help champion their cause of we love you but its about big business only (under the guise of free market and capitalism).  I can understand the yahoos (goodness knows their bigotry and racism has blinded them), but what about the rest of us?  There are so many key committees that we can get involved with to help push the stimulus through.  Here are just a few.  But there are so many more.  We do not have to stand for this shit just because the non-bias (non liberal) media are trying to tell us, with their counterpart the republicans, what to do.

The Democratic beast have been released in other ways.  Its not so much that all of are extremist, but we are in love with our country and right is right and wrong is very much wrong.  We want justice and a sense of fairness for paying our taxes and living by the rules.  The shit the republicans are currently perpetrating have not one thing to do with fair or justice (only big business — fuck that).

My other subject of choice is due to what I can only surmise is the media’s way of trying to assist President Bush rewrite his legacy.  How…HOW can any one compare Bush sitting in a chair reading to second graders a book about goats while New York was being attacked to President Obama reading to second graders while not a fucking thing was happening, but Daschel bowing out of being the Health Czar.  Such comparisons is beyond logic and comprehension.  There is absolutely unequivalently no fucking comparison.  I am getting sick and tired of this Bush comparison that President Obamamust go through with the conservative owned so called liberal media.  There is nothing fair or balance in that comparison.  It is pure bullshit.  I live in New York and the two don’t even come fucking close.  When Bush was sitting on his, I don’t know what the fuck to do ass, I watched my world being destroyed.  When President Obama was sitting on his ass, not ONE REAL TERRORIST ATTACK was taking place.  So my question to this nonsense is simply WTF?  Are we really going to allow the conservatively owned non liberal media to call the shots on our common sense and intelligence?

I think MSNBC just compared President and Mrs. Obama’svisit with second graders yesterday to My Pet Goatand 9/11. But I’m not 100 percent certain. At around 9:20 a.m. eastern, Tamron Hall threw to Contessa Brewer who said:

CONTESSA BREWER: Tamron, this was something of a flashback for many of us. As his nominee for Health Secretary was going down, the first couple paid a surprise visit to a DC charter school to read a book to children. It was a trip that was planned, but not announced. After the book, the president took questions from boys and girls who are the same age as his daughter, seven-year-old Sasha. You make the call, but I’m pretty sure Brewer compared the event yesterday to My Pet Goat.

UPDATE:Maureen Dowd did it too. Eric Boehlert quotes Dowd:

On 9/11, President Bush learned of disaster while reading “The Pet Goat” to grade-school kids. On Tuesday, President Obama escaped from disaster by reading “The Moon Over Star” to grade-school kids.Sweet merciful crap. So Tom Daschle withdrawing his nomination for HHS is like a terrorist attack in which 3,000 people were killed. And President Obama reading to school children while Daschle withdraws is just like Bush’s frozen state of torpor while Americans were dying in New York.

Very serious! I’m so glad the New York Times and MSNBC are in the tank for Obama.

I don’t fucking think so.  The media is currently operating on the premise that we are center right.  I don’t think so.  If such was the case McCain and empty headed Palin would be who we were talking about.  Just like the republicans will find out when its time for a vote again that the American people are not so forgiven; especially to a group that think they can step all over us to support their nonproductive agenda.  As I so boldly stated a few days ago, the time is growing closer for pink slips to be given out.  We must remove the cancer we call our republican lawmakers, senators and congress and show them what the hell we are made of, and it isn’t center-right.

It is pathetic and pitiful to note that the so called liberal media gave Bush, who completely destroyed our world, a pass.  But now dare to say that they will be more critical where President Obama is concerned.  Translated that means that every non impactful moment of President Obama’s life will be critiqued.  Please.  Media don’t play concerned citizen now; especially if what you are reporting is in the category of bull shit.

Only in Fucking America!

February 5, 2009

News flash, Joe the Plumber isn’t sure that the American people deserve his wisdom.  Can we draw straw?  Let’s see who’s so hapless that they have to listen to him in the first place.

When asked if he has a career in politics, Wurzelbacher said, “I don’t know if the American public deserve me, but my son definitely deserves my time now.”

Can we take a vote and give him an answer?

Kristol: GOP should oppose stimulus to prepare for health care fight

February 5, 2009

I just love it when the non-Washington ass holes speaks their minds. Don’t you? While they have their idiot sheep that lives on listening to their quackery following and trusting them blindly, the rest of us normal citizens have to say WTF?

Really, why is it that to be a republican now days you must give up all common sense, intelligence and your own standard of living (exception to bigots and racist who are just completely ignorant and stupid)?

That’s right, republicans, let’s fight the stimulus to avoid health care. You know that thing we all fucking need. Let’s keep it a burden for the middle and poor class.  I am so loving the GOP’s new trade mark. Nothing says fuck you America people (the bulk of us) like they do.

First it was fight the stimulus it to make a stance, then it was fight it to stop job creation, now it’s lets stop it to avoid dealing with saving those stupid fucking American lives.   Only in America can bullshit be passed off as ideology and freedom of speech.

Alberto Gonzales on Campbell Brown’s CNN show

February 5, 2009

When does the wing nuttery comes to a close? This is the forever marching orders of the stupid so called liberal media?  To keep this shit in our face? Kudos to Campbell Brown for challenging this nut case. This is more of the republicans showing their irrelevancy in my world.

8 years of fucking shit and I have to listen to this fool and Cheney all within a span of less than 24 hours? WTF?

Why are we allowing the news media to beat us up with this quackery? Are we going to stand up at some point and put an end to this particular bull shit?

Limbaugh: Bush Wasn’t Partisan

February 4, 2009

I thought we were all done with the revisionist? There’s not a snowball’s chance in hell Bush’s legacy is going to be flipped into a pretty picture. Bush was decent for sure, but that doesn’t excuse the fact that he was a fucking clueless idiot that brought our country to the brink of the abyss.

Bush bipartisan? I can’t even believe the wing nuts would want to bite that bull shit. That being the case, who is Rush talking to? Or, does he really believe he is the new voice of the GOP? What an ass hole.

Most of us know Hannity is just plain stupid and he has transcended from just being an opinionated commentator and entered into the realm of being a dumb fuck.

Steele’s new talking point: govt has never created a job. ever.

February 4, 2009

Okay making statements only work if you don’t contradict them before you’ve even made them that same morning.

Just that morning on NPR, no less, Steele acknowledge that the recovery package would create several hundred thousands jobs at best. Let’s just say Steele is on point for talking out of both sides of his mouth which is currently the republican way.

Last Post of the Night: The Nit Picking Continues

February 3, 2009

republican-congress-largeThere seems to be no end to the nit picking of the GOP.  They are following their marching orders to the tee, just like the rats that followed the pied piper right into the sea.

I am so sick of listening to the “liberal” media back everything that the GOP is opposed to in the stimulus package.  Of course the GOP is opposed to anything that have any type of benefit for people such as STD prevention, abortion education and access, Pell Grants, condoms, and anything else that reeks of people orientation.  Never minds that preventive measures save money in the long run for medical coverage.  The only people the republicans will not complain about receiving such funds for the above are the Iraqis.

Let’s take a moment to flash back on the past.  Let’s see if memory serves us.  Does anyone remember the first Stimulus that President Bush gave us?  The one where he gave the little people a rebate check and then also gave…drum roll please…CORPORATE TAX BREAKS.  That was the mindset of the once high and mighty ruling the free nation and in total control republican party.  Where are we now?  Yes, in the fucking toilet.  What is the republican party once again screaming for as the solution for our new stimulus?  FUCKING CORPORATE TAX BREAKS.  Obviously, the lesson was not learned.  Just like a stone rolling down the hill that never gathered a hint of moss the republicans just keeping rolling on.

Let’s stop and think about this for just a minute.  WTF?  Either the republicans are serious about protecting the rich or they have no clue as to what the purpose of a stimulus for the middle class really entails.  They have collectively fell into a pattern of spouting the same shit that got us into this mess with a total disregard for their culpability.  That they have an idiot base that believes in their empty shit is neither here nor there.  It only proves an idiot can be easily recruited with key words in America.  All the republicans have to say is let’s get back to being fiscally responsible and the idiots fall in line.  Does it matter that for the past 8 years they have been anything but responsible?  Not in the idiot base ideology.  Let the republicans scream socialism (even though Bush promoted that position with a vengeance), or  let them shout nationalization, or welfare and there goes that idiot base fuming in an uproar.  Never mind that the ass holes are being played for jerks.  The idiot base just wants to believe that the republicans are sticking to conservatism.  Never mind if you go back far enough you will find that conservatism was synonymous with racism (still is in some corners).  Its all about morality, irregardless if none is to be had since the republicans long time ago abandoned real morality for the sponsorship of major corporations.

The only thing the rest of us get to see is the liberal media forever showing us how much the republicans are passionately against helping the people.  Of course it is not portrayed as that, oh hell no.  The liberal media puts them on every show around the clock so we can be reminded why we hate those fuckers.  Not only did they sink us into the toilet (or the abyss — take your pick), they won’t shut the fuck up.  I guess the republicans’ consolation prize is knowing that their idiot base is cheering them on for the brainless sheep that they are.  After all what else can you call people that believed Bush got his directions from God?

Then There Was Rove

February 3, 2009

roveMr. untouchable has now become touchable.  Rove and his lawyers have decided today that he will cooperate with the a federal criminal inquiry underway into the firings of nine U.S. attorneys.  My how the mighty have taken a step back and recognized they no longer have cards to play with.

Regarding the decision to cooperate with Dannehy, Luskin said that Rove “has not and will not assert any personal privileges.” He also said that in regard to the earlier probe, Rove had not done so, but had rather only “followed the guidance of the White House.”

eric-holder-confirmed-largeIt seems like Rove is starting to recognize that that old do nothing White House no longer exist.   Now the little balding fucker will have to participate.  The sweet smell of justice.  Let it continue.  Now that Eric Holder has been voted in by the senate let the prosecutions begin.

The vote was 75-21, with all the opposition coming from Republicans.

Holder’s chief supporter, Sen. Patrick Leahy, said the confirmation was a fulfillment of civil rights leader Martin Luther King’s dream that everyone would be judged by the content of their character.

Its Not Even The Morning…But By God Morning Joe is Filled with Madness

February 3, 2009

I know freedom of speech is key in our country; but, why is it the only speech I hear so freely is some right wing nut bull shit?  As can be expected when the wing nut native speaks we are all forced to listen.  The new agenda for the GOP fruit loops is to put the working poor out of the mix in receiving any tax benefits.   After all Joe  Scarborough himself said the Republicans would not support giving tax breaks to the working poor.

How many times have we heard that President Obama is giving money to those that are not paying taxes?  The truth is simple.  It is not that these people are not paying taxes it’s that they make such low wages that very little is paid to Income taxe.  Pretty much close to 100% of these people work over 60 to 80 hours a week just to make that small amount.  Let’s face it folks none of us would want to be making minimum wage in our current economic climate.

The Republican party does what it knows best and uses key phrases to rile their idiot base.  They like to use terms like socialism, welfare, liberalism and nationalization to give their groupies a sense that they are being used or cheated by the government.  As I’ve stated in previous post, truth and reality are not a necessity when republicans speak.

It’s okay to keep the corporate welfare, currently called the TARP, going for banks, housing and insurance companies.  It’s okay to keep spending money to maintain GITMO, and its damn well okay to spend American dollars to rebuild and improve Iraq.  Nope, no complaints coming from the republicans camp over those expenditures.  Why should they complaint about that when they have Americans to crush?  How dare the working poor have expectation of a tax cut.  Never mind the new president said that’s what he would do, the republicans knows what’s best.  Their idiot base may pretend someone else destroyed our economy (know doubt they will soon be calling it President Obama’s economy), but I am not so forgiving.  I know how we went down the toilet.  Their idiot base can continue to blame Nancy, Dodds, Reid and Barney all they like; there was only one jerk running the government when we took the dive into the abyss, he’s name is Bush and not one of the house or senate republicans tried to stop him.  In fact they only tried to aid him.

As can be seen below, Joe and Mika, of Morning Joe, stays within the GOP talking points and do what the republicans do best, paint a picture even if it is bullshit.  After all, its the republicans job to destroy the American people (especially if you live in the middle or poor class) while they make sure America’s major corporations keeps rolling in  welfare dough (can we say corporate tax cuts anyone?).

Michael Steele The New RNC

February 2, 2009

steele-largeWell I’m black (even though mixed) and have a lot of lassitude on stating my opinion with out some real jerk ass hole accusing me of being racist.  But I can in my bias way freely state that Steele is just a wanna-follow- the-party-line ass hole, without any new ideas.  Talk about any Black person will do.

I don’t know if his speeches were directed towards letting all the republican nay sayers know he wants to be seen as toeing the party in-its-fucked-up-message-line or he honestly believe his bull shit.  What ever the case, he shut a door in my face.

I had no expectation that the republican party would reach out to person like me (Black, heterosexual, and a single parent), but to pretend that there’s nothing wrong with their message is just pure and simply fucked up.   Micheal Steele is not there to usher in a new era.  He there’s just to show they are moving on without moving on.

Pressed by Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace, Steele diagnosed the GOP ills as a problem of the messenger but not the message — he even suggested that the party should look back to New Gingrich’s Contact With America for inspiration.

“We failed to lead,” said the former Lt. Maryland Governor. “The principles we espoused [in 1994] are still true and good today and that’s not what people moved away from us for. They moved away from us because we behaved badly. We came to Washington and we became like the people we were sent here to replace. And they replaced us.”

The bullshit, if your are a republican, never stops no matter your skin color.  The gall that Steele had the nerve to call the democrats racists, name callers and obstructionist?  Hello…is that a sorry attempt at reverse psychology?  Give me a break with stupid.  No one can out pace the republican party at being a pack of right wing bigoted racist.  Sorry but there is no hope for the republicans with their new chair person.  He’s living in a delusional land.  Let the American people suffer so the republicans can say what?  We still have fucking power?  Just another asshole walking the hallways of stupid.

Iraq? What’s higher Spending then that?

February 2, 2009

frank-largeAs the republicans continue to play their game of the stimulus not covering enough tax cuts to satisfy their desires, Barney Frank came right out and stated the obvious.  What bigger spending is there then what we wasted in Iraq?  A pointless war that had nothing to do with nothing (outside of oil that we didn’t get)?

Yea, another one for the democrats.  Let’s see that’s 2 to 0 now.

DeMint: Let’s not say it’s a stimulus when it’s a government spending plan. All of the things, the needs in our society, education, these are things we debate every year.

Frank: Spending can be stimulus. I don’t understand.

DeMint: It’s the largest spending bill in history and we’re trying to call it a stimulus.

Frank: The largest spending bill in history is going to turn out to be the one in Iraq. If we’re going to talk about spending, I have a problem when we leave out that extraordinary expensive, damaging war in Iraq, which has caused much more harm than good in my judgment. I don’t understand from my conservative friends, building a road, building a school, helping to get health care, that’s wasteful spending. But that war in Iraq, that’s going to cost us over a trillion dollars, yeah, I wish we hadn’t done that we would have been in a lot better shape fiscally.

I am not feeling the republican town criers hollering about the democrats turning our government into a socialist country when the only thing President Obama gets to do for his first 4 yeas is clean up the toxic mess that Mr. Capitalist, Bush, himself left behind.  I know it was acceptable to have an idiot for a president that you could dream of having a beer with, but bitches wake up to reality of the new majority who wanted someone with a brain.  Give me a break with stupid.  If enough of us believed that nonsense then Palin would be the vice president right now.  Well on her way to being the president shortly (especially after McCain mysterious death).  Yet I must note that you town criers flip between blaming the democrats for our current situation and then blaming them for having  a democratic agenda.  Well let me ask boldly, which the fuck is it?  Are they closet republicans are or they democrats?  Make up your minds bitches.  You can’t have it both ways.

If it takes regulating banks, cleaning up oversight, and taking control temporarily so what?  The mess we are currently swimming in is deep and all you that believe the government is trying to take over, needs to check yourself and wake up and smell the we-are-in-an-economic-melt-down-because-the-government-didn’t-do-its-fucking-job under Bush reality.  So let’s give the non-stop republican mantra a rest.  Those fuckers were a sleep at the wheel while they continued (with some of you ass holes help) to push the blame on the democrats even though at the same time they are screaming at the democrats for having a different agenda from their own (democrats = people; republicans = big business and the southern strategy).  Do me a favor, don’t even bother to forgiving me while I strongly believe that the American people (and I don’t mean major corporation) are a lot more important than somebodies major corporation that the republicans want to give a tax break too.

We can agree to disagree but don’t bring me stupid, thank you.

House GOPs’ Palin Stiffed Us

February 2, 2009

Forgive me if I have no sympthany for these bitches while they cry over Sarah Palin not meeting them at the retreat.

Retreat organizers tell ABC News that Palin politely declined, giving a perfectly understandable reason.  According to the Congressional Institute, which hosted the conference, Palin said she simply could not make it to the retreat because pressing state business made it impossible for her to leave Alaska this weekend.

So where is Palin this weekend?  She’s in Washington, D.C., attending the super-elite Alfalfa Dinner.

While the House GOP are busy dicking around with the stimulus package and making their stand like this is some fucking movie versus being real life and reality I thing it is pathetic that this, Plain blows them off, is what makes them frown.

I said it before and I still mean it, time for some fucking pink slips for those bitches.

Clinton’s 1993 Budget/Stimulous Package- No Republican Votes

February 1, 2009

You’ve got to acknowledge that the Republicans are a one trick pony if ever there was one. The same complaints that the republicans levels at the  current stimulus bailout is the same one they leveled at President Clinton.

What makes this unbelievable asinine is the simple fact that Clinton was right and after 8 years of GOP bull shit, which, by the way, has brought our country to the brink of destruction, the republicans have learned nothing but how to come off sounding forever repetitive.

So much for the republicans ever becoming a new party or a party with meaning.  If the only things that makes them fiscally responsible is giving tax cuts and shrinking a hands off government then we know that shit don’t work.

Honestly, when do they start getting a clue as to why they are standing outside of the building?

These People are So Tired

January 31, 2009

obama_shown_jacket-free_in_the_oval_officeNow we have ex-White House Chief of Staff, Andrew Card stating that President Obama shows a lack of respect by dressing casually in the White House.

I found that Ronald Reagan and both President Bushes treated the Oval Office with tremendous respect. They treated the Office of the Presidency with tremendous respect. And some of that respect was reflected in how they expected people to behave, how they expected them to dress when they walked into the symbol of freedom for the world, the Oval Office. And yes, I’m disappointed to see the casual, laissez faire, short sleeves, no shirt and tie, no jacket, kind of locker room experience that seems to be taking place in this White House and the Oval Office.

I guess I would give this some credence if Card hadn’t work for the guy, Bush, that believed in formal dress but didn’t give a shit about the America people.

I really don’t give care how President Obama dresses in the White House because obviously how you dress is no indicator on how you govern, as Bush so successfully demonstrated.

Jeez, these people are going to be spilling bull shit for the next 4 years?  After spending a week listening to the republicans whine over the stimulus bill (which no doubt have more consideration for people then businesses), keep cultural wars alive — abortion — and talk about a White House dress code, I can easily conclude that republicans are fucking clueless when it comes to the American people.

We don’t want to hear about this crap.  We want action, not whining.  The only people giving a shit about how the president dresses in the white house is a bunch of loser (or can’t think of anything else wing nuts) who are obviously trapped in a time tunnel of yesterday’s pageantry versus living in the 21st century.

Republicans go do the world a favor and grow a spine before you open your mouths.
