January 24, 2009

You can’t get any better than this. Aretha Franklin gives nothing but soul and heart as she sings her heart out. Considering her age, props to her. Enjoy and good night.

January 14, 2009

So much talent wasted. She was wonderful. I send out my prayers for her to recapture her voice. This is one of my favorites. Girlfriend is singing her but off. Enjoy and GN.

Sign off: Leona Lewis – Better in time

January 13, 2009

This is another one that I love. She has a voice that cuts butter (without the skin tight clinging super mini outfits).  I really love her sound.   Enjoy and goodnight.

Sign Off Music: Plies – Please Excuse My Hands ft Jamie Foxx & The Dream

January 8, 2009

Once again I turned to my daughter for the choice for tonight’s sign off song. This was her pick and I found I liked it very much.

I’m quite sure I will not be buying the album, unlike my daughter who already has a copy, since I have this nagging suspicion that the rest of his songs will not be like this one.

Enjoy.

Tonight I just wanted the beat, soul, rhythm and a smooth sound. Who better than Santana? Hot, passionate, absorbing and totally releasing. Enjoy and goodnight.

Sign Off Music: Rihanna – Rehab feat. Justin Timberlake

January 2, 2009

Here’s two of our hottest singers. I had to dig deep to get this copy. I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets shut down. The video was interesting and enjoyable. It’s a little slow in loading but its worth the wait.  Better see it while it last.

Sign Out Song: Lil Wayne – Lolli pop

January 1, 2009

This is another one that I just love the beat of.  I’m the not the biggest Lil Wayne fan but I did get hooked on this one. In fact, I’m dancing right now and like the whole premise of the beat.

Yes I know he is using the buried word Nigger but guess what? He can. Why? Because he’s not using it as a derogatory term about Black people.  He’s talking about any worthless man, irregardless of color.  It’s all in how you use the word.   My 18 year old taught me that lesson.   It’s all in the presentation.

Let’s face it girls we would love to have a man tell us such things as let me get it juicy for ya.

Signing off Music: Alicia Keys – No One

December 31, 2008

For some reason, I had this song on my mind all day and when I took my girls out to eat for dinner this was one of the songs that was playing on the speaker system.

I knew then that this would be my signing out song.   Smooth, easy, refreshing, and filled with soul.  Doesn’t hurt that she’s one fine babe to look at.

Sign Out Song: I Love Him Like I Do

December 30, 2008

Okay tonight’s selection is me showing my Christian side.  I really loved this song and found it inspirational and uplifting, as well as hot and current with today’s generation.  It is also absent of all hate.  God in this song is just someone that loves us without conditions.  Amazing, we do not have to be racist or bigots to be loved.  That’s a God I can get down with.  I hope you all enjoy it as well.  Good night

Enough said.

Nightly Sign off Entertainment: Earth, Wind & Fire – Reasons

December 29, 2008

For tonight’s sign off I’ve decided to go with a classic. Earth, Wind & Fire singing Reasons.  This song seem to fit the bill of what I was looking for. I’ve always loved this song. Next time I’ll go for straight jazz.  This one is a mixture of both.

Yet, this is nice and comforting for the soul, heart and mind.  Have a good night everyone.
