McCain is starting to become irrelevant

October 27, 2008

In a speech McCain gave with the little crowd that showed up to see him (I don’t know why he does not stop trying to do speeches by himself, he needs Barbie for a crowd.  True neither she nor him will ever reach Obama’s proportions but it would be a damn site better than barely 1,000) he dare to bring up the last debate.  Yea, the one he lost.

You know, the other night in the debate with Senator Obama, I said his eloquence is admirable, but pay attention to his words. We talk about offshore drilling and he said he would quote, consider, offshore drilling. We talked about nuclear power, well it has to be safe, environment, blah, blah, blah.”

Is McCain saying that nuclear power does not needs to be done safely?  Or is he throwing that quote thing around again?  You know where he dismissed the woman’s health when it came to abortion.

McCain is perpetually putting his foot in his mouth with a total disregard to other people’s feelings.  As we are winding down to the end of this election it is becoming increasingly clear that McCain will never speak about substance, nor will Barbie be seen at any news conference or on any Sunday news shows.

I’m starting to feel at this point that  McCain is becoming irrelevant, I got this knowledge from my 75 year old mother.  McCain had two years to give us something in the form of meat.  Nothing has been forthcoming.  Even when the meltdown started he still refused to discuss the problem in terms of solutions.  Barbie has no standing except with the right wing fringe who would like a voice but truly do not have one.  She has not done anything positive in terms of boasting McCain’s rating.  It’s not like she speaks about any substance either.  Most people take her for a talking GOP robot who is forever clueless about governing our country.  Plus, (time for my favorite line) nobody likes her and she is not popular.

I will reexamine this subject next week Sunday and see if McCain has upped his game or have finally slipped into obscurity.
