After Blocking Auto Bailout, Conservatives Immediately Blame U.A.W.

December 12, 2008

Well I see as the good old boys played their usual games and made sure the auto bailout bill did not pass, here we go with the blame game (which is typical).  Now it’s the workers fault?  As the compilation below by Think Progress will show, every one of those fools are pointing the finger at the AMERICAN worker.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Don’t you just love when BS is shoveled at you in the (supposed) cloak of reason?   So now making a decent wage ($27/hr) and having medical coverage is a no-no if you are a AMERICAN?  The fact that the conservatives  from that video clip quoted all those foreign car industries only highlights my point.  This is AMERICA, not Germany or Japan.  The fact that the “other auto industry” is not saddled with health coverage for their AMERICAN workers, have no attachments like retirees to pay health care for, no unions so they are not obligated to pay middle class wages and build less models of cars (three model to GM’s eight) seem to not matter.  Yet, some how the failure of the bill passing is because of the workers? Why then did the senate not ask for the creditors as well to make concessions?  If this really is about making concessions.  This is all a load of crap and it is smelling to high heaven.  The real issue is the American economy.  If those politicians can’t take their heads out of their azzes for love of their foreign car industries and hate of unions, couldn’t they at least give a damn about the rest of us living in this economy?

Just for the record this is how the vote went down for the nay sayers.  Just in case we need to help get these fools out of office, knowing who they are will matter greatly.

  1. Problems in the economy is always blamed on the working class and the unions. That is a sick excuse for no bailout. Their has been many concession by the unions around the auto industry and very little concessions by the CEO’s asking for it. My town is a ghost town now because all the GM plants are closed down. I really don’t know what’s left to save in MHO.

  2. @ggita32- I am sorry to hear that your town is having a hard time. I do hope it gets better for all of us.

    ________

So if I get this right from the Republicans…..they want car union workers to work for less to make for better competition against foreign car companies?

So Republicans want American workers no matter if they are union formed or not to work for less money to make it fair for foreign car companies here in America?

Taking my words from Chocolate News….”Republicans have you lost your DAMN MINDS”?

  3. Ever wonder what a UAW contract looks like? It is over 2200 pages and weighs 22 pounds. It no wonder the big three can not compete in the global market. Honda and Toyota don’t have to deal with that kind of crap. It would take a team of lawyers just to understand this document. 2215 pages of inefficiency brought to you by the UAW

  4. The big GM Morain plant just south of us is shut down for good Heavenly, nothing will help these people. Fortunately I was not caught in that line of work.

All I can say about the 2215 pages of UAW contract is for GM attorneys need to get the f#*k off their dead a$$ and do their job and read it. If the UAW can write it up WTF are these high paid fools called attorneys getting paid for by GM. Efficency works both ways “Redneck”
