Can we get a proposition 8 break, please…

December 21, 2008

hopeI am so tired of the haters of everyone’s freedom (exception to criminals).  Why won’t these people just die?  I am sick of their objections.  Who the hell appointed them as the overseers of our lives?  A bunch of sexual frustrated perverts if you ask me.

Now we have a bunch of fruit loops, sponsors of Proposition 8, asking for the gay marriages be overturned by the courts in California.  Worst, they think that have a case!

The Yes on 8 campaign filed a brief arguing that because the new law holds that only marriages between a man and a woman are recognized or valid in California, the state can no longer recognize the existing same-sex unions. The document reveals for the first time that opponents of same-sex marriage will fight in court to undo those unions that already exist.

These are the Bush supporters that would rather see our country sunk into the depths of hell (currently almost there) then admit their premise is wrong and failing.  They pedal their self righteousness like it was a tangible thing to be touched and felt.  I bet plenty of them that have died are passing out marshmallows since the fires are constant where they are.

The campaign submitted the document in response to three lawsuits seeking to invalidate Proposition 8, the constitutional amendment adopted last month that overruled the court’s decision in May that had legalized gay marriage in the nation’s most populous state.

starr-largeEither we have a constitution or not.  No amount of Bible thumping should change the fact that we should all be afforded equal rights.  What’s laughable is that once again the righteous right has dug up Kenneth Starr –former independent counsel who investigated President Bill Clinton — to participant in righting this supposed wrong.

The flip side of this story is that now California’s attorney general, Jerry Brown, has reversed himself and now is fighting for equal rights for gays.

In a dramatic reversal, Attorney General Jerry Brown filed a legal brief saying the measure that amended the California Constitution to limit marriage to a man and a woman is itself unconstitutional because it deprives a minority group of a fundamental right.

california-attorney-generalI can only say I’m happy he finally saw the light and decided to actually read the constitution which most of the righteous refuse to do.

It became evident that the Article 1 provision guaranteeing basic liberty, which includes the right to marry, took precedence over the initiative,” he said in an interview Friday night. “Based on my duty to defend the law and the entire Constitution, I concluded the court should protect the right to marry even in the face of the 52 percent vote.

I think its time that we took back our country from the corrupt righteous right wing bigot idiots.  Who either by stupidity, ignorance, or plain lack of education have decided that reading the bible looking for dirt is the only way to govern people’s lives.  I’m sure Hitler had a dream as well and thought he was right in wanting to cleanse his nation of Jews.  But we all know he was wrong and his methods were even worst than wrong.

Not enough said.

  1. Legislate morality. Crush free will and individual choice. That is what these bigot religious haters want. They play right into the hands of the governments dictatorship that is sweeping over the US.
