What’s news without President Obama?

December 23, 2008

After 2 years of non-stop President Obama news all other news pales in his absence.  What’s the media to do?  Well that’s easy.  They follow him on his vacation and take meaningless pictures.

That should set our economic worried minds at ease.  Nothing like seeing your new president looking hot!  Let’s forget that some of us are starving literally, need a job, can’t pay our bills or are in need of a bailout to stay in our homes.  The media can neglect those tidbits with the more important news of President Obama’s (well deserved) down time.

  1. You mean sort of like all the coverage of Gov. Palin’s wardrobe and makeup instead of covering her speech alongside NOW leaders who balked their national leadership to support her? Hmmmm….

Methinks you should have complained back then as well, if you’re going to complain about the MSM’s bias and stupidity now…. 😉

  2. You’ve got to admit that nonsense about Palin was coming from the left as well as the right. The things people get caught up in. Bottom line, who really cares. All of that paled in comparison to the bailout. That money (which is not a little) pretty much paled in the face of what we were being lead to believe we needed to spend. Don’t get me wrong, she’s still empty headed Barbie in my book (smile) but the nit picking with the media knew no end.

I really don’t care about the media and any of their slant on the news. I just like poking fun at how silly they are. Back then I had plenty of complaints regarding the media, now I just sit back and laugh at the nonsense they are forever trying to pretend is journalism.

Case in point they have a few articles in reference to Palin which I have not listed. Who cares if she did not call G. W. Bush? Or, that she is expressing how she feels towards T. Stevens? In my world that is blah, blah, blah.

  3. Don’t worry the media will continue to talk down everything until 1/20/ 08. Then miraculessly the economy will recover and the jobless rate will go to 4% overnight because, pebo will then just be pbo.

  4. Dave you are either bitter or living in a world of delusion. Our condition will not be changing for at least a year or longer. Let me tell you now, hate is an ugly thing. I may be tired and exhausted over Bush’s lack of leadership, but never hate. For all the scriptures you quoted to me this current tone is beneath you.

We are in this mess together and we need to start thinking in terms of how to solve our problems as one nation. Once we have resolved our current real problems we can easily convert to partisan attacks.

  5. You guys are missing the important part of this news.

LOOK AT OBAMA’S BODY!!!!!!! Now I see why Michelle is a happy lady. HE HE HE

  6. “Don’t worry the media will continue to talk down everything until 1/20/ 08. Then miraculously the economy will recover and the jobless rate will go to 4% overnight because, pebo will then just be pbo.”

You left out that Iraq will finally be “won.” That will be how the media reports on things if they maintain their crush on their appointed POTUS. Of course that’s not really a sure thing. The media is fickle and self-serving and may turn on Obama once he’s in office.
