Have The Conservatives Gone Completely AWOL?

February 24, 2009

Bristol Palin We are still in the twilight zone when it comes to Republican logic.  I guess if we all came from another planet then what Bristol Palin had to say about abstinence would be alien.  But we are not aliens and we heard her clearly.  She very explicitly said that abstinence is not realistic means for keeping teens from getting pregnant.

So why are these loons pretending Bristol said something else?  I’m having a hard time believing even the wing nuts are listening to this nonsense.  How could they?  Are the wing nuts retarded?

Are these fools coming from la la land with this whole premise?  She suggested people wait because abstinence does not work and the reality is that if I, would I is all that is left after having a baby.

Go Republicans go, you are so winning the war on failure.

With New Season Of 24, Right-Wing Falls In Love With Torture All Over Again

January 14, 2009

What is wrong with this picture? Is Fox Fake News really arguing over the viability of a fictional character and scenario as a position that Americans should take? If this is true then God help us if they ever play the video game Grand Theft Auto.

Ann Coulter Holds Herself Up As Champion Of Family Values Despite A Record Indicating Otherwise

January 6, 2009

Here the queen of family values is in all her glory.  I am most impressed that she manage to show up without being drunk, which she is good for doing. The fact that she can spout off about family values even though she promotes pre-marital sex is a clear sign that conservatism has lost it edge.

Listening to her reminds me why I think the chick is demented.  She seems to live in a world of her own making, that is completely severed from reality.  Good for NBC for knocking that bubble head off its show.

Gary B. Smith – Ever So Wrong

January 2, 2009

In the typical Fox Fake News style, here you have Gary B. Smith making another idiotic prediction.  It’s good to know that Fox just loves to keep people stupid with their anal predictions.

Let’s note that good old Gary got it wrong.   The Dow has not even achieved 9,000, much less 13,000.  I think its time to stop listening to idiots and turn the channel.

Fox News allows ‘magic negro’ New Year’s message to be broadcast.

January 2, 2009

This is why I find Fox Fake News pathetic. Why would any real news stations have the words “Happy New Year and Lets Hope The Magic Negro Does A Good Job Love Jen and John C” on the bottom of their screen? How utterly pathetic.

For those of you that live for Fox News there is no hope that you will ever know the truth about anything, and you have my deepest sympathy for why you might be ignorant of true facts.

SHOCKER: John Bolton Would Invade Iran Now!

December 31, 2008

johnbolton_01Here’s a shocker.   JOHN BOLTON would attack Iran now. Why do we have to keep listening to this warmonger?  Oh, right he’s on Fox Fake News. Who else would give cause for America to enter a third war without taking into account America’s lack of money (economic meltdown) and troops (serious shortage) that is currently going on?

That’s right this is America, let’s just keep fighting everyone we don’t like.  There’s no need for diplomacy.  Let’s just pretend we can storm troop into Iran and fight them and take control.  Did I say Iran or did I mean Iraq?

Hm…I think I’ve seen this story played out before and it didn’t work out too well.   Now that Israel is considering a cease fire where do we go from here? Do we make some bogus CIA report, lying about Iran’s capabilities, take it to congress and the UN and declare war on Iran?  Then look back 5 years from now after 10 or 20 thousands Americans has been killed along with millions of innocent citizens to confront the fact that the war was a lie?

John Bolton’s kind of stupid needs to be stopped.  It is getting tiresome to listen to people living in bubbles.  Can somebody just get a pin and be done with this nonsense?

Beltway Boys Claim New Deal Didn’t Work But Reaganomics Did

December 28, 2008

Time for a trip down the memory is really F__ked up lane, brought to you by your local kool-aide distributor Fox Fake News.

As Kondracke and Barnes push forth the theory of how President Obama’s economic stimulus will be as bad for the economy as FDR’s new deal was.  The fun time came when  they could not help themselves from taking that kool-aid sipping stroll down Reaganomics lane of BS.

Who could forget that during Reagan’s time how taxes increased, the deficit ballooned, and unemployment increased while job growth decreased.  Yes what fond memories of the good times gone by.   Fox Fake News just isn’t satisfied unless they can be categorized as nothing but complete BS.

The fact is, facts simply aren’t relevant to Republicans, since their economic views and objects of veneration are more appropriate to a religious cult than intellectual rigor. (You might want to get Will Bunch’s new book for a look at this phenomena – and why it’s so important.)

New York Times economic writer Daniel Gross debunks the wingnut mythology here:

It was only with the passage of New Deal efforts–the SEC, the FDIC, the FSLIC–that the mechanisms of private capital began to kick back into gear. Don’t take it from me. Take it from Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, who wrote the following in Essays on the Great Depression: “Only with the New Deal’s rehabilitation of the financial system in 1933-35 did the economy begin its slow emergence from the Great Depression.”…

The argument that the New Deal’s efforts “perhaps had prolonged, the Depression,” is a canard. One would be very hard-pressed to find a serious professional historian–I mean a serious historian, not a think-tank wanker, not an economist, not a journalist–who believes that the New Deal prolonged the Depression.
